This devised theatrical performance re-imagined world history using Thoth, the Egyptian god of the moon and the inventor of writing, as a point of departure. Performed over the course of a month in an intimate gallery setting, the piece articulated an attempt to compose a delicately crafted and character-driven alternative cosmology. Incorporating a twenty-three foot long paper that performers mapped with paint and charcoal, and original props made from glass beads (light reflective material used in traffic markings), gallery visitors who missed the live theatrical events encountered symbolic references for imagining a phantasmal dream world.
